NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior Detection Engineer to join the Detection and Automation Engineering team. You will build high-confidence detections across SIEMs, translate incidents into production content, and drive the full detection lifecycle from design to retirement.

The role requires 8+ years in detection/ security engineering, strong programming and query skills, and the ability to collaborate with incident response, threat intel, and engineering teams. Remote options available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in detection engineering or related security roles.
• Hands-on experience building detections in major SIEMs or security analytics platforms.
• Strong query and scripting skills (e.g., SPL, KQL, SQL, Python).

Responsibilities

• Build and tune high-confidence detections across SIEMs and cloud logs.
• Translate incidents and threat intel into production detections.
• Drive full detection lifecycle: design, validation, deployment, tuning, and retirement.
• Collaborate with incident response, threat intel, and engineering teams.
• Coach analysts through design reviews and guidance on detection credibility.
