Job summary
vineyard vines is seeking a talented Designer, Men's Wovens to own the design and development of Men's Bottoms and Outerwear from concept to production. You will translate brand aesthetics into compelling, commercially viable products while collaborating with Merchandising, Product Development and Technical Design.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong product expertise, excellent taste, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in Men's Wovens, with bottoms/outerwear expertise.
- Experience owning categories from concept through production.
- Strong knowledge of woven construction, fit and detailing.
- Advanced Illustrator and Photoshop skills required.
- Proficient in PLM systems and creating technical packages.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Own the design and development of Men's Bottoms and Outerwear through full product life cycle.
- Develop original, innovative designs aligned with brand aesthetic.
- Translate trends into compelling concepts, silhouettes, fabrics and colors.
- Create cohesive product stories within the seasonal assortment.
- Sketch and develop designs with hand sketching, Illustrator and CAD.
- Prepare technical packages, BOMs in PLM.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Technical Design and Merchandising.
- Attend weekly fittings and revise designs accordingly.
