Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited in Minnesota seeks a senior manufacturing engineer specializing in injection molding to lead mold qualification and process development. You will conduct DoE studies, qualify molds, review designs, and drive process validation to ensure high-quality molded components.

With 10+ years in injection molding, tooling, and manufacturing engineering, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and implement robust qualification plans (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ) while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in injection molding, tooling, process validation or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with mold qualification and process validation methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, mold design and tooling materials.
• Develop and execute mold qualification plans, including DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ
• Lead injection mold trials, process development and qualification activities.
• Review mold designs, drawings, specifications and engineering requirements.
• Conduct DoE and process capabilities studies to optimize the molding process.
• Evaluate dimensional, cosmetic, mechanical & functional characteristics of molded components.
• Prepare and execute validation protocols and report in compliance with Quality system requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance.

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
