Job summary

Mad Engine Global, LLC. is seeking a creative, trend-driven Senior Designer to lead development of Juniors & Missy apparel collections for U.S. wholesale accounts.

You’ll drive seasonal design, set direction, and translate trends into commercially successful products for major retailers. You will research trends, fabrics, silhouettes, and consumer insights, collaborating with Merchandising, Product Development, Sales, and Production.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of apparel design experience.
• Strong experience in Juniors and Missy fashion.
• Experience in women's wholesale or fast fashion.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• In-depth knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, fit and silhouettes.
• Experience designing for major retailers (Walmart, Target, Kohl's, Ross, TJX or similar).
• Excellent trend forecasting and commercially focused design skills.

Lead seasonal design collections for Juniors & Missy apparel

Research fashion trends, fabrics, silhouettes, prints & consumer insights

Collaborate with Merchandising, Product Development, Sales & Production

Mentor junior designers and support creative direction

• 6+ years of apparel design experience
• Strong Juniors and/or Missy fashion design experience
• Experience in women's fashion, wholesale apparel or fast fashion
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, fit & silhouettes
• Experience designing for major retailers such as Walmart, Target, Kohl's, Ross, TJX or similar accounts preferred
• Excellent trend forecasting, creativity & commercial design skills
