Job summary

Kahuna USA, LLC (Kahuna) is seeking a Senior Designer I, Process & Mechanical Piping in Westminster, CO. The role focuses on advanced piping design with ASME/ANSI/API knowledge, executing mid-sized projects, and mentoring junior designers.

Expect hands-on modeling in CADWorx Plant and AutoCAD Plant 3D within a collaborative, safety‑driven environment. You will lead complex P&ID development, coordinate with engineers, and drive design quality while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• CADWorx Plant proficiency
• 3–7 years of design experience
• Oil and gas design experience preferred
• Advanced AutoCAD proficiency
• Navisworks familiarity
• Strong communication and mentoring to juniors

Responsibilities

• Lead mid-sized piping projects independently
• Perform complex 3D modeling in CADWorx Plant or AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Route and detail piping with clean layouts
• Coordinate with engineers and other designers
• Develop and enforce group design standards
• Mentor less experienced drafters/designers
• Ensure workflow from start to finish and manage project communications
