Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Designer in Santa Monica to lead creative work across our device lineup and brand initiatives. You will drive conceptual development and execution for product launches, presenting to senior leaders and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This role blends strategic art direction with hands-on design, guiding teams in digital, motion, photography, and integrated campaigns while ensuring brand consistency and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of design and art direction experience across multiple media.
• Strong skills in graphic design, branding, photography, CGI, video and art direction.
• Ability to lead and critique creative development and guide teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate ideas.
• Experience leading junior staff, vendors, freelancers, and photographers.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

Responsibilities

• Lead creative efforts and campaigns for major product launches and brand initiatives.
• Present work to senior leaders, product marketing managers, and executives.
• Collaborate with teams across brand, digital, broadcast, audio, social, and emerging channels.
• Guide creative teams in visual solutions for digital, motion, photography, and integrated campaigns.
• Establish timelines and lead breakthrough concepts and development.
• Translate complex concepts into memorable customer experiences.
• Mentor junior creatives and external partners as needed.
