RO | ROCKETT DESIGN is seeking a Senior Designer/Architect with 8–10 years of architectural design and documentation experience, preferably with 4–5 years at the current place of employment. This in-person position focuses on high-end residential and institutional work, including contract administration and coordination with clients, consultants and contractors.

The candidate should demonstrate strong drawing and modelling skills, and be proficient in REVIT, Rhino, and Enscape.

RO | ROCKETT DESIGN is a design collaborative interested in improving, re-imagining and creating spaces, landscapes and environments. We aim for our projects to provide and evoke the spectrum of experience from utility to simple joy; places that we want to return to over and over. Our studios live in Los Angeles, San Francisco (Sausalito) and Aspen, however they function as one, thinking and producing interactively and seamlessly in real-time on all projects. Our work is centered around modern design with focus on materials, light and site integration. We are currently involved with several high-end residential and mixed-use projects in locations across the country, including Aspen, Lake Tahoe, Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, Idaho and Utah.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

RO | ROCKETT DESIGN is seeking a qualified Senior Designer / Architect with 8-10 years of architectural design and documentation experience, preferably with 4-5 years at current place of employment. Candidates should have strong project & design experience at all project phases. Contract administration and Contract Document experience is a requirement, preferably in high end residential or institutional. Responsibilities will include: Research & Design, Documentation & Detailing, 3D-Modelling, Physical Modelling, Project management, Coordination w/ internal team, consultants, contractor and client.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

The optimal candidate will have 8+ years of architectural design and documentation experience, preferably with 4-5 years at current place of employment. The candidate should be seeking an in-person position, as this is not a remote work opportunity. The optimal candidate will also possess the following:

• Strong, confident design talent
• A professional Degree (B.Arch or M.Arch)
• Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team setting of a small office environment
• High-end residential experience with Contract Administration experience
• Meticulous drawing and modelling skills (3D & Physical)
• Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with a positive, diligent work ethic
• SD-CD level project experience in REVIT and Rhino
• Rendering experience using Enscape
