American Eagle Outfitters Inc. is seeking a Senior Designer, Offline Active in New York, overseeing seasonally driven activewear design aligned with the Offline brand aesthetic. You will lead sketches, CAD, and tech packs, coordinate with leadership, and mentor junior designers.

You will partner with production and merchandising to ensure quality, fit, and seasonal alignment, with in-person collaboration required at NYC or Pittsburgh sites and a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion or Art or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in Active Apparel.
• 8+ years related experience.
• Keen eye for color, trend, detail and construction.
• Able to multi task and prioritize based on business objectives.
• Working knowledge of Illustrator and Excel.
• Ability to act as liaison between many departments; excellent communication and analytic skills.
• Must be detail oriented, computer literate and able to handle multiple tasks at once.

Responsabilités

• Identify and assess market trends for Offline brand identity.
• Define seasonal ideas, prints, graphics and color direction with leadership.
• Source materials with the material team and manage fabric approvals.
• Lead seasonal presentations and milestones with executive leadership.
• Create sketches and CAD to present tech packs and decks.
• Oversee PLM data, proofing, and style fit discussion with Design Director.
• Coordinate hand-offs with production per calendar deadlines.
• Ensure design quality within cost constraints across seasons.
• Communicate design intent to technical design team and support fittings.
