Job summary

Monks is seeking a Senior Designer to join a regional creative team delivering rapid-turn editorial and marketing content. You will apply established brand systems to polished digital and web deliverables, maintaining high craftsmanship and autonomy.

The ideal candidate is proficient in Figma, comfortable with design systems, and able to translate complex information into engaging visuals. AI and new approaches to production are encouraged.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of digital/web design in an agency, tech, or in-house team.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and design systems.
• Strong UX principles, responsive web design, and accessibility.
• Ability to organize complex information into clear visuals.
• Experience creating charts, diagrams, infographics of technical info.
• Excellent typography, layout, color, spacing, and image selection.
• Strong attention to detail and self-QA.
• Ability to work autonomously across regions and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Design editorial, marketing and web assets using brand guidelines and component systems.
• Translate complex product information into clear visual hierarchies and graphics.
• Apply UX principles across responsive layouts for digital assets.
• Work in Figma with shared libraries, components, auto layout and plugins.
• Adapt design systems while maintaining brand consistency across deliverables.
• Collaborate with Design Director, writers, motion designers and producers.
• Interpret briefs and feedback, ask clarifying questions when needed.
• Prepare production-ready files for distributed teams.
• Support clear handoffs across regions or shifts.
• Conduct thorough self-QA for content accuracy and accessibility.
• Use AI/tools to support exploration and efficiency.
