Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Designer to transform technical requirements into precise 3D CAD models and detailed drawings. You will integrate industrial design concepts, create documentation, and support engineers with design solutions to complex challenges.
You will mentor new designers, guide CAD best practices, and ensure manufacturability and design efficiency across multiple projects. Prior experience with NX or similar tools and strong communication skills are essential.

The Senior Designer is responsible for transforming the technical requirements into functional designs and precise 3D CAD models, integrating industrial design concepts, creating detailed drawings and product documentation. This role involves supporting engineers with generating potential design solutions for technical challenges, mechanism analysis, as well as evaluating prototypes and competitive tools to help guide design decisions. The Senior Designer also mentors new designers, guides engineers on CAD best practices, and communicates effectively with the team to ensure manufacturability and design efficiency. Office Environment; Primarily working in an indoor office environment; May sit for several hours at a time; Prolonged exposure to computer screens; Moderate noise i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers.
