A leading beauty firm in San Francisco seeks a Senior Designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in the beauty or retail industry and proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to create exceptional creative assets and developing concepts that align with current trends. This role offers a competitive salary of $38-$43/hr depending on experience and initially a 10-month contract with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of design experience working with beauty, fashion and/or retail brands.
• Strong proficiency in typography, color theory, and layout design.
• Basic digital sketching skills (storyboarding).
• Excellent organizational skills, time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Cross-collaborate to craft and deliver exceptional creative assets.
• Research trends and develop concepts.
• Assist in development of shoot briefs and post-production briefs.
• Assist in digital and print asset development, management and handoff.
• Develop Figma templates.

Skills

The Planet Group's well known beauty client is looking for a Senior Designer for their team.

The Senior Designer will collaborate closely with teams across Editorial, Visual Merchandising, Content Production, and Marketing to craft and deliver exceptional creative assets across retail, digital, and paid media.

Senior Designer Responsibilities

• Cross-collaborate to craft and deliver exceptional creative assets
• Research trends and develop concepts
• Concept sketches and storyboards
• Assist in development of shoot briefs and post-production briefs
• Assist in digital and print asset development, management and handoff
• Develop Figma templates

Senior Designer Qualifications

• 3+ years of design experience working with beauty, fashion and/or retail brands
• Strong proficiency in typography, color theory, and layout design
• Basic digital sketching skills (storyboarding)
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Figma

• After Effects animation skills a plus
• Experience retouching and photo art direction a plus
• BA or BFA in Graphic Design or Communication Design (preferred)
