Job summary

Bronx Banco, a fashion label known for cutting-edge style and precise tailoring, is seeking a Senior Designer for its New York team. This on-site, full-time role leads concept development, sketches and technical drawings, color stories, and fabric/trims selection aligned with global trend direction.

You will oversee the design process from concept to production, collaborate with pattern makers and production, mentor junior designers, and present concepts to leadership and key partners.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in fashion design including concept development, sketching (hand and digital), and creating cohesive collections for contemporary womenswear.
• Proficiency with design and technical tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and relevant PLM or CAD systems.
• Solid understanding of garment construction, pattern making, fitting, and fabric behavior, with the ability to collaborate with technical and production teams.
• Demonstrated ability to research and interpret global fashion trends, color and silhouette directions, and translate them into market-ready designs aligned with brand identity.

Role Description

The Senior Designer will play a key role in shaping Bronx Banco's seasonal collections, translating the brand DNA into innovative, commercially viable designs that resonate with a global audience. This full-time, on-site position based in New York, NY involves leading concept development, creating sketches and technical drawings, developing color stories, and selecting fabrics and trims aligned with trend and brand direction. The role includes overseeing the design process from initial concept through sampling and final production, collaborating closely with pattern makers, technical designers, and production to ensure fit, quality, and construction standards are met. The Senior Designer will conduct market and trend research, analyze customer feedback and sales data, and adapt designs to maintain competitiveness and brand relevance. Regular responsibilities also include mentoring junior designers, presenting design concepts to leadership and key partners, and working cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, and sales to deliver cohesive collections and visual stories.
