Job summary

Nmble Hiring Solutions is seeking a seasoned brand designer for a large retail client. The role starts as a freelance engagement, onsite one day per week in the Charlotte metro, with a potential path to a permanent seat.

You'll concept and design campaign visuals with weight, rebuild leadership decks, and push the brand aesthetic while staying recognizable. Motion work is a possible expansion, limited to about 20% of time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing brand and campaign work, in-house or agency.
• Portfolio shows depth, layering, typography, and a fashion-forward eye.
• Expert use of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Based in the Charlotte metro and onsite one day per week.
• Self-directed with ability to work without oversight.

A large retail brand wants its in-house creative work to hit a lot harder. Think sports

graphics: depth, stacking, strong type, visuals that carry a campaign. The brand people

already know and trust stays, the execution gets sharper.

This starts as a freelance engagement with about one day a week onsite. If it clicks there

is a path to a permanent seat, though that is not locked in up front.

What you'll do

• Concept and design campaign visuals with real weight to them: layered, type-driven, bold
• Rebuild leadership decks into presentations people want to look at
• Push the aesthetic forward while keeping the brand recognizable
• Work alongside an in-house designer already carrying a lot of this
• Flex into motion work if you have it, at roughly a fifth of your time

What we're looking for

• 5+ years designing brand and campaign work, in-house or agency
• A portfolio with range in composition: depth, layering, typography, a fashion-forward eye
• Expert Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Based in the Charlotte metro and able to be onsite one day a week
• Someone who runs their own work without much oversight

Nice to have

• After Effects, Cinema 4D, or similar motion and 3D
• Retail, CPG, sports, or apparel experience
