Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Design Technologist for the CrX Design Tech team to own the architecture and development of tooling and intelligent systems that accelerate creative work across Store, Alexa and Prime Video. You will shape technical strategy, prototype at scale, and mentor teams to deliver production-ready features.

You will collaborate with UX designers, engineers, scientists, PMs, and design system teams to raise the bar on design technology and performance across platforms.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in front-end technologist, engineer, or UX prototyper roles.
• Experience prototyping for enterprise web apps or workflows.
• Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe CC, or similar.
• Track record of delivering inventive prototypes and guiding technical direction across teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and own systems enabling rapid prototyping within production constraints.
• Lead development of agent-based systems with parallel workstreams.
• Refine GenAI creative workflows and set quality standards; influence implementation decisions.
• Develop large prototypes or major features and lead a team to execute.
• Prototype rapidly, ship production-ready code, and foster contributor-friendly code.
• Mentor junior Design Technologists and contribute to assessments and hiring.
