Senior Design Systems Engineer — Remote (Latin America)

Blacksmith Agency LLC; Arkansas; Remote; USD 120.000 - 180.000; Vollzeit

Zusammenfassung

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Design Systems Engineer to own how client design systems are built. You will extract patterns from a brand and reference sites into a working system—tokens, variables, modes, and core components—so the build pipeline can execute with precision.

This is a senior, systems-first role. You will stand up new systems quickly and correctly across several client brands at once, not just create one-off pages or ongoing maintenance.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years designing for the web with real design system work in your portfolio.
• Fluency in Figma variables, component properties, auto layout, and variants.
• A portfolio showing work that looks different client to client but with the same underlying rigor.
• Strong English and overlap with US business hours.

Aufgaben

• Build token architecture in Figma using variables, modes, and semantic naming our pipeline can read predictably.
• Ship core component libraries that hold up across an entire site, not just a homepage.
• Document the system so a developer or an automated pipeline can execute it without questions.
• Work across several client brands at once, each looking distinctly different, with the same structural rigor.
