Job summary

Apple seeks a pioneering leader to guide a growing team of Human Interface layout designers for video products. You will partner with design leadership to shape the TV/Video layout program and act as the primary design liaison across the company, driving improvements and stewarding programs from ideation to delivery.

You will manage high-profile initiatives, coordinate with product and engineering, and align priorities with resource constraints, while mentoring teams and expanding direct reports

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a leadership/producer/manager role delivering software products with design/engineer teams.
• 2+ years of people management experience and ability to collaborate with executives.
• Strong communication with senior management.
• Able to balance structure and creativity in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive project management to identify risks and drive delivery.
• Skilled delegator who gets work done through others.
• Fast learner with ability to grasp complex problems quickly.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest or experience in TV/SVOD space is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a growing team of Human Interface layout designers focused on video products and services.
• Partner with design leadership to guide the television/video layout team and roadmap.
• Act as the main design point-of-contact across the company.
• Drive process improvements and roadmap execution for new ways of working.
• Manage high-visibility programs and cross-functional dependencies.
• Represent design in annual product/resource planning and priority negotiations.
