About The Role

Our Client has a holistic approach to the design strategy, programming and design of different programs in their offices. The Sr Design Consultant - Systemization & Strategy’ will be responsible for curating documentation that facilitates the streamlined execution of work streams that require systemization support via clear and visual documentation. They will design, deliver and manage the creation of guidelines and any resources Design Teams or their stakeholders requests, as well as support the development of templates and other supportive assets (newsletters, graphics, etc) to ensure a cohesive approach to all presentation materials.

This position is best suited for a person who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, values creativity and exploration, and is passionate about project delivery and utmost quality. It requires someone comfortable with change and helping shape that.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare detailed design specifications based on project agnostic requirements and client requests.
  • Conduct design guidelines reviews with team to identify innovative design solutions.
  • Implement and manage quality assurance and compliance processes within the project schedule.
  • Create templates, playbooks, and guidelines for design strategy initiatives
  • Develop and manage comprehensive design strategy frameworks. Develop and track schedules and work plans for design strategy efforts (guidelines, playbooks, templates, etc)
  • Develop innovative design strategy initiatives backed by thorough research and analysis
  • Support the development of thoughtful and intentional site-agnostic design and programming strategies, identifying and implementing strategies to increase the efficiency of the Client's workplace and amenity programs
  • Develop and manage comprehensive design strategy frameworks for a variety of audiences; external architecture/design firms, internal leadership/executive audiences, business partners. Support and lead a visual strategy, based on audience and need; championing Design Team overarching strategies, approach, processes, and needs
  • Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
  • Showcase expertise in own job discipline (design standards, systemization, guidelines, playbooks, etc) and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.
  • Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred (Architecture/Interior/Graphic) with 5-7 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience with Google Apps.

  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is 120,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is 140,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
