Job summary

A leading architecture firm in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced lead designer responsible for developing creative design concepts for multiple projects. The role requires 15+ years of experience, ideally with architectural registration and sustainable design accreditation. Responsibilities include guiding project teams, establishing project goals, and managing client relationships. The position offers a base salary range of $115K to $150K annually along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Typically 15+ years of experience in the design field.
• Architectural registration strongly preferred.
• Sustainable design accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as lead designer on multiple projects.
• Guides and directs project teams throughout development.
• Establishes the vision and sets project goals.
• Develops creative design concepts for projects.
• Coordinates with consultants and contractors.

Skills

Advanced experience in Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper and Dynamo

Intermediate skills in Navis and Bluebeam

Advanced experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Advanced organizational skills

Advanced ability to maintain existing client relationships

Intermediate knowledge of furniture, furnishings and equipment (FF&E)

Education

Accredited professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design
