Job summary

ElectroCraft, Inc. seeks a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design, development and sustainment of fractional horsepower motors and motion products. You will work hands-on to create robust, manufacturable solutions and mentor other engineers across multiple platforms.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and customers to ensure performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance while driving cost reductions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree in engineering is preferred.
• 10+ years engineering experience in motor/rotating machinery is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of fractional horsepower motors from concept to production release.
• Perform analyses (electromagnetic, thermal, mechanical) to optimize performance.
• Support manufacturing, QA, and supply chain with design for manufacturability and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement across platforms.
