Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Battery Systems Senior Design Engineer to design, analyze, build, and implement battery systems for rail and marine applications. You will own the top-level system design and interface routing, supporting development from concept through production.
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in battery pack/rack design, proficiency with Creo and Teamcenter, and strong collaboration across internal teams. On-site role with relocation available.

Caterpillar’s Integrated Drivetrain and Energy Solution Division (IDES) has an exciting position as a Battery Systems Senior Design Engineer supporting the Battery Packs team. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will design, analyze, build, and implement new battery systems, components, or technologies into rail and marine customer applications.
This position is located in Mossville, IL and requires 5-day a week on-site availability 10% or less travel is expected for this role Domestic Relocation is available Visa Sponsorship is not available.
$112,710.00 - $169,060.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
This position requires working onsite five days a week. Relocation is available for this position. Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.
