Job summary

Jack Morton is seeking a Senior Design Director to lead our Specialized Environments practice. You will guide creative development and execution across diverse environments, translating brand and content into impactful physical experiences.

You will mentor teams, lead cross-disciplinary collaboration, and help grow the practice with strategic opportunities across broadcast, workplace, and public spaces.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in environmental/experiential design or related field.
• Experience leading complex spatial design projects end-to-end.
• Strong portfolio with environmental storytelling and branding.
• Experience presenting to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring designers.
• Ability to lead across multiple project types and scales.
• Understanding of design process, fabrication, and buildability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design vision for complex environmental and broadcast projects from concept to design development.
• Guide mood boards, narratives, plans, elevations, renderings, and design documentation.
• Ensure design intent is communicated and protected throughout the process.
• Lead design workstreams across multiple projects and coordinate with strategy, creative, account, and production teams.
• Present work clearly to clients and senior stakeholders, translating complex ideas into compelling narratives.
• Mentor designers and help grow the creative capabilities of the team.
• Help expand the Specialized Environments offering across broadcast, sports, entertainment, and experiential categories.
