Job summary

HDR seeks a Senior Design Coordinator in Los Angeles to independently evaluate architectural techniques and prepare construction documents. You will work with owners/clients to refine procedures, write specifications, and perform code reviews across all project phases.

A strong background in Revit and leadership is essential. Preferred candidates hold a Master's in Architecture and have experience in healthcare, educational, and civic facilities, with proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field; 5+ years of experience preparing details, specifications & construction documents.
• Preference for Master’s degree in Architecture and experience with healthcare, educational, civic, science and research facilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate, select and apply architectural techniques, procedures and modifications to architectural construction documents.
• Independently perform architectural assignments with general instruction from Project Architect/Project Manager.
• Collaborate with owners/clients to select and recommend procedures.
• Write specifications covering architectural matters and perform code reviews.
• Assist Project Architects or other coordinators and contribute across all phases of the architectural process.
• Perform other duties as needed.
