Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Design Coordinator in California to help design and deliver architectural construction documents. You will work with owners/clients, apply techniques, and write specifications across project phases.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Architecture, 5+ years experience, proficiency in Revit, and strong leadership and communication skills. Healthcare, education, and civic projects are among typical HDR engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years professional or internship experience in design and construction documents.
• Must possess credentials to obtain future registration.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit and MS Office Suite.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; relationship management is essential.
• Interest in sustainable design and LEED is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and apply architectural techniques to construction documents.
• Perform architectural assignments with general instruction from Project Architect/PM.
• Collaborate with owners/clients to select procedures.
• Write specifications and perform code reviews.
• Assist other team members across all phases of the architectural process.
• Complete duties as needed.
