Job summary

Amentum seeks a Design Construction Safety Assurance Lead to support a major UK nuclear project. You will join the Client Health & Safety team and influence safety across multiple project teams, working on-site and with off-site infrastructure.

A strong CDM 2015 background and experience as a Principal Designer are essential. NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6) and IOSH Chartered status or progression are required, with roughly five years of related construction health and safety experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of approximately five years' health and safety experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure or a comparable project environment.
• Strong working knowledge and practical application of the CDM Regulations 2015.
• Demonstrable experience of working with or providing assurance of a Principal Designer function.

Responsibilities

• Form part of the Client Health & Safety team and report to Head of Health & Safety (Client).
• Provide leadership, professional challenge and technical influence across multiple project teams.
• Operate across HPC main construction site and off-site infrastructure with broad allocation of work.
• Coordinate with Client, Principal Designer, Principal Contractor, designers and partners under CDM 2015.
