CDM Smith in the Southeast United States is seeking an experienced and driven client-focused Design Build Sr. Project Manager to support our South Region Water Team.

You will lead multi-discipline planning, design, and construction efforts for water and wastewater facilities, with an emphasis on collaborative project delivery and strong client relationships. The role requires at least a bachelor's degree, 10 years of experience, and certification like PMP/ CCM/ DBIA within 12 months; travel up

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 10 years of related experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective communication between design and construction project leadership.
• Manage multi-discipline water/wastewater/conveyance and environmental projects up to $100M+.
• Build relationships with major municipal clients in the South Region.
• Lead pursuit and project delivery teams.
• Coordinate with technical specialists, delivery managers and vendors.
• Assist with GMP documents, budgets and schedules, and risk management.
• Provide planning analyses and prepare technical documents.
• Promote design-build best practices and constructability reviews.
• Engage in professional societies such as DBIA.
