Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Senior Design Build Sr. Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects in the South Region. You will direct multi-discipline teams from concept through construction, build client relationships, and drive pursuit and delivery with best practices.

This role offers hybrid work options and requires PMI PMP/CCM/DBIA certification within 12 months, with travel up to 10%. Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 10 years of related experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective communication between design and construction leadership.
• Manage multi-discipline water/wastewater/conveyance and environmental projects up to the $100M+ range.
• Build and manage relationships with major municipal clients in the South Region.
• Lead pursuit and project delivery teams.
• Coordinate with technical specialists, delivery managers and vendors.
• Assist in GMP document coordination and development.
• Monitor budgets and schedules and manage risk.
• Provide planning and analysis and prepare technical documents.
