Job summary

Truist Wealth in Atlanta, GA seeks a results-driven analytics professional to support development and deployment of initiatives for the CSBB Deposit portfolio. You will analyze deposits, pricing, and profitability, and collaborate with product, digital, branch, and marketing teams to drive growth.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in Banking/Finance/Analytics, strong Excel/SAS skills, and proven ability to work cross-functionally under tight timelines.

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of experience in Banking, Finance, Decision/Data Science, Analytics, CS, or Engineering with a diverse project focus and results.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel, and SAS or other data/analysis platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in statistical modeling, price optimization, financial modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver targets for CSBB deposit products and channels through pricing and execution models.
  • Support development of growth strategies to increase share of wallet across client segments.
  • Assist in incentive design, financial planning, and forecasting for CSBB deposits.
  • Provide analytic insights to deposit portfolio management including profitability and balances.
  • Gather competitive intelligence to drive business performance and support strategic planning.

Job description

This role is responsible for supporting development and deployment of strategic initiatives to drive profitable growth of the $215B Consumer and Small Business (CSBB) Deposit portfolio.

This job requires analytical skills as well as strong inter-personal skills to collaborate closely in a cross- functional environment and engage with partner organizations.

Proven ability to drive independently and exposure to deposits, systems, pricing analytics, and risk management is critical to this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver new account, new client, new money production, rate paid, and balance growth targets across all CSBB deposit products and channels through understanding of product, channel, and client segment strategies, pricing, and execution models.
  • Support development of strategies and execution plans to grow share of wallet in key client segments through digital, branch, call center engagement, and work with marketing to develop a holistic client outreach strategy via direct mail, email, digital offers, and outbound calling.
  • Support incentive design, production goals, financial plan, and forecasting across all CSBB deposit products.
  • Deliver analytic insights to support deposit portfolio management across balances, rate paid, and profitability. Provide input to the development of pricing test strategies and work with product teams to evaluate new strategies and evaluate performance.
  • Actively collect and synthesize competitive information from financial statements, industry sources, subscriptions, and the media to drive business performance.
  • Prepare leader business reviews and provide input to strategic planning presentations.
  • Engage with various partners to communicate analytics insights related to initiative ideation, deployment, and performance.
  • Support business case development for key initiatives.
Qualifications
  • College Degree or equivalent education and related training or experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Banking, Finance, Decision/Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering with a diverse project focus and demonstrated results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to solve complex issues taking into account technology, client, teammate, and financial impact.
  • Identify and escalates issues or critical information quickly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint and Excel) and SAS or other data/analysis platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including direct experience with statistical modeling, price optimization techniques, financial modeling, and analysis.
  • Exposure to regulatory banking standards that impact deposit products.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or higher in business, finance, economics, or related quantitative field.
  • Ability to form strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and willing to take on multiple analysis efforts and manage them strategically under strict timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large projects.
