Job summary

Yeshiva University invites applications for the Registered Dental Hygienist, Complex Care Practice, to provide comprehensive preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services in a high‑level academic clinical environment.

You will support education and interprofessional care within the new College of Dental Medicine, collaborate with faculty and front office, maintain accurate records, and help promote patient‑centered care in New York.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• New York State RDH license required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Experience with dental practice management systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, FERPA, OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hygiene evaluations and periodontal charting to support diagnosis.
• Provide preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services.
• Maintain periodontal health through debridement and maintenance.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and prevention.
• Maintain patient recall records and schedule appointments.
• Collaborate with front office for scheduling.
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation in line with regulations.
• Prepare operatories and maintain equipment.
• Complete OSHA and HIPAA training and compliance.
• Support educational, clinical, and service missions of the College.
• Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
