Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in apparel design.
• Ability to interface with Department heads outside of Design.
• Experience with fabrics, wash/color palettes, and styling details.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute original denim designs for Walmart Private Label Brands.
• Research and identify trend and fit direction.
• Plan and design the line according to sales needs and trends.

Skills

Proficient sketching in Illustrator

Proficiency with Photoshop

Ability to identify key trends

Ability to develop a line from concept to completion

Education

BA degree from accredited art/fashion school
