Job summary

SBH Fashion in New York is seeking a Manager of Sourcing + Production to oversee the full production cycle for Wrangler products across multiple factories. You will develop vendor relationships, create schedules, and manage cost implications while ensuring on-time delivery and quality.

Travel to new factories is required to expand sourcing internationally. The role demands expert knowledge in woven and denim children's wear, plus Walmart experience and at least seven years in production

Responsibilities

• Oversee full production cycle for Wrangler products across multiple factories from protos through placement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Create and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Understand cost implications of design changes and align with creative teams.
• Negotiate with factories to hit better pricing and cross-source items.
• Send price and margins for each worksheet to sales and management for approval.
• Monitor production quality and ensure all requirements are met.
• Ensure permits, licenses, and paperwork are obtained timely.
• Resolve production-related issues, collaborating with sales and design teams.
• Analyze tech packs and address issues with design team.
• Travel to new factories in Bangladesh, Madagascar, Pakistan, India.

Title: Manager of Sourcing + Production

Must have denim and woven experience in children’s wear. Walmart experience a plus. This is a full-time position based in the NY Office.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Oversee full production cycle for all Wrangler products across multiple factories from protos through placement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Create and maintain production schedules to ensure all factories are on track for an on-time delivery
• Have a strong understanding of cost implications associated with design changes and collaborate with the creative teams to ensure that the product still meets their vision.
• Negotiate with factories to hit better pricing and cross-sourcing items to secure best prices.
• Send price and margins for each worksheet to the sales and management teams for approval
• Monitor production quality and ensure that all requirements are met
• Ensure that all necessary permits, licenses, and other paperwork is obtained in a timely manner
• Resolve any production-related issues in a timely and professional manner – collaborate with sales and design teams when necessary
• Analyze tech packs and address issues with design team
• Required to travel to new factories (Bangladesh, Madagascar, Pakistan, India)
