Job summary

Medonix is seeking a senior denial-management professional to lead denial reviews, author appeals, and translate payer policies into scrub-rule logic. You will own a portfolio of customer accounts and measure denial rate improvements and value recovered.

Your day includes running denials, drafting appeals, and collaborating with coders to fix documentation issues. AAPC/AHIMA/HFMA credentials and 5+ years of experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in denial management or A/R recovery within healthcare billing.
• Credential in AAPC/AHIMA/HFMA is required or preferred.
• Strong understanding of CARC/RARC codes and payer-specific appeal procedures.

Responsibilities

• Run denial taxonomy and root-cause analysis for assigned accounts.
• Author payer-specific appeal templates and scrub-rule logic.
• Collaborate with coders to fix upstream documentation or coding issues that drive denials.
• Meet the SLA on denial rate, appeal turnaround, and overturn rate.
