Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking a Senior Demand and Supply Chain Planner in Waltham, MA to model demand and supply for our robotics portfolio and ensure product availability. You will lead cross-functional forecasting, manage ERP data integrity, and drive inventory optimization in a hybrid role (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH).

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in demand planning and data analytics within complex manufacturing, with expertise in ERP systems, Tableau, and advanced forecasting methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field required with 8+ years in demand/supply planning and data analytics, or 5+ years with a relevant Master’s.
• Advanced data modeling capabilities and experience with ERP systems (Rootstock preferred) and Tableau for visualization.
• Strong analytical rigor and problem-solving, with ability to standardize immature processes.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage the Sales Demand Planning lifecycle and protect service levels and revenue targets.
• Lead cross-functional forecasting reviews and synthesize a unified demand plan with Sales, Service, Production, Purchasing and Fulfillment.
• Own the demand consolidation process and load demand into ERP, ensuring data integrity and SOP adherence.
• Define and manage safety stock levels balancing inventory and availability across products.
• Audit forecasts, historical trends, and inventory signals to challenge weak assumptions.
• Design and maintain Tableau dashboards to measure and communicate demand planning improvements.
