Senior Demand Generation Manager, Paid Media and Inbound

**About The Opportunity**
As a Senior Demand Generation Manager, Paid Media and Inbound, you will manage initiatives that build pipeline and support Contentful’s revenue goals and company objectives. Your focus will be on converting highly interested buyers through inbound campaigns and managing top-of-funnel growth and audience expansion via paid media efforts, including managing external agencies. You will collaborate with the Demand Generation team within Contentful’s Marketing department, working closely with campaign owners, Brand Studio, external agencies, Sales, and other marketing functions to develop and execute inbound campaigns and awareness initiatives through paid media. Your role is crucial in delivering consistent messaging to our targeted audience through our go-to-market strategy.

**Responsibilities**

  1. Develop, execute, analyze, and optimize inbound campaigns to capture interest and accelerate the buying process, including demos, use cases, and content to drive pipeline.
  2. Design and implement paid media plans supporting brand and integrated campaigns across channels like paid search and paid social, focusing on top-of-funnel growth.
  3. Manage external agencies to execute paid media plans effectively.
  4. Implement and optimize inbound campaigns to enhance conversion, partnering with web teams on customer journey enhancements.
  5. Create and maintain a testing and optimization roadmap for ad creative, audience targeting, and budget allocation.
  6. Collaborate with Sales, PMM, Operations, and Analytics to align strategies and messaging.
  7. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external agencies on creative and messaging alignment with Contentful's brand and products.
  8. Monitor campaign performance metrics; make data-driven adjustments to maximize ROI.
  9. Manage project timelines and budgets across teams and vendors.
  10. Provide regular reports on campaign progress, results, and pipeline impact.
  11. Review performance, compile lessons learned, and recommend improvements to stakeholders.
  12. Navigate complex workflows and regional differences within a collaborative environment.

**Qualifications**
  • 6+ years in B2B digital marketing or paid marketing, preferably in SaaS.
  • Proven success in creating inbound demand generation campaigns that increase leads and revenue.
  • Experience managing paid social and video campaigns for SaaS, or managing agencies with clear goals.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, buyer personas, and customer journey mapping.
  • Data analysis skills for informed decision-making and actionable insights.
  • Experience with paid media platforms like DemandBase, DV360, Google, Meta, LinkedIn.
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising and display.
  • Experience working in fast-growing B2B software companies with sales-led strategies.
  • Ability to initiate tasks independently with attention to detail.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com.

**Additional Information**

This role requires work in a state where Contentful is registered. Salary range applies to New York residents: $162,000 - $180,000. Equity awards are available.
