Job summary

Oura seeks a Forecast Analyst – Demand Planning in San Francisco to strengthen forecasting capabilities through advanced analytics, data integration, and scalable demand methodologies. You will translate signals into forecasts, build robust baselines, and guide the organization toward ML-enabled forecasting while collaborating with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Data, Finance, and Systems teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, analytics, data science, or related field.
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Python, R, or similar language.
• Experience building forecasting models and evaluating model performance.
• Strong understanding of planning and operational processes in consumer products or hardware domains.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and operationalize forecasting methodologies to increase accuracy and scalability across Ōura's planning processes.
• Build and refine statistical baseline forecasts using historical demand, seasonality, promotions, and other drivers.
• Advance machine learning-enabled forecasting by identifying high-value use cases and translating outputs into planning decisions.
• Evaluate forecast performance using diagnostics and bias analysis and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Standardize forecasting logic and documentation to ensure transparency and scalability.
• Partner with Data and Systems teams to improve input integration across forecasting workflows.
• Create scenario models, dashboards, and analytical tools to understand demand risk and opportunities.
• Support planning cycles with clear, decision-ready analysis.
• Translate complex findings into concise business narratives for stakeholders.
