Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Category Consultant, Northeast Grocery to partner with internal teams and customers to drive category growth using data, insights, and forecasting.

Remote role requiring at least 5 years in demand planning and commercial forecasting, with strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills to influence strategic decisions across Hershey's brand portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in demand planning, commercial forecasting, or related strategic roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proficiency with planning software and advanced analytical tools required.

Responsibilities

• Demand and Commercial Forecast Ownership: develop and manage forecasts using historical data, trends and inputs from multiple units.
• Scenario planning and trade-off analysis: create alternative demand scenarios and assess pricing/promotional impacts.
• Cross-functional planning collaboration: align with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.
• Performance analysis and insight generation: analyze forecast accuracy and driving recommendations.
• Process and planning capability improvement: evaluate and enhance planning processes and tools.
