Overview of the Position:

Nova 401(k) Associates is looking to fill fully remote Senior Defined Contribution Account Manager positions. We will provide you with a home office set-up including a computer and a phone. Nova has been offering remote work for over 10 years. We offer a great work experience for our remote employees!

We are transforming our Account Manager positions to focus more on review and client/advisor service. Our Account Managers are supported by a strong implementation group, plan document team, special projects team, and loan and distribution department. Teams work toward firm goals with recognition for exceptional performance. Weekly calls are scheduled to discuss deadlines and industry updates.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain client and advisor relationships with high retention rates
  • Manage a caseload of complex plans
  • Review work products of team members
  • Prioritize workload to meet weekly goals in a results-oriented environment
  • Provide superior client service and consulting on plan operation and design
  • Communicate proactively with clients and advisors about industry developments
  • Collaborate with other departments, record-keepers, and advisors for an excellent client experience
  • Adhere to Nova policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • Ten or more years of 401(k) plan administration experience
  • NIPA or ASPPA credentials
  • College degree
  • Expertise in ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy, and 401(a)(4) testing
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to manage a book of business proactively and independently
  • Critical thinking skills

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Base salary $100,000 - $125,000
  • Salaried, non-exempt
  • Insurance: medical, dental, disability, life
  • Paid time off

Work Location/Hours:
  • Work from home in the USA
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Computer equipment provided
  • 37.5-hour work week
  • Start time between 7:30 am and 8:30 am
