Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent from ABET-accredited university with 8+ years of experience or MS with 6+ years.
• Experience deriving requirements for complex electrical, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and software systems.
• Experience system-level requirements analysis, functional analysis, and trade studies.
• Capable of leading large, cross-disciplinary tasks across technical areas.
• Experience communicating in a team and presenting to customers and management.
• Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville area; ability to obtain secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop systems engineering artifacts, including Requirements Specifications, Interface Control Documents, verification planning and MBSE content.
• Interface with Software, Hardware, Analysis, Logistics, and Test & Integration teams.
• Lead Technical Design Reviews and present to customers and management.
• Estimate engineering effort (hours) for Systems Engineering tasks.
• Support multiple programs in a matrixed organization.
