Job summary

SciTec Incorporated, a defense contractor, seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead execution of complex software systems in a defense environment.

You will coordinate across technical teams, government customers, primes, and subcontractors, manage cost, schedule, risk, and ensure on-time delivery.

Requires DoD clearance; travel up to 25%; salary range $182,000–$232,000; competitive package and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or preferred in STEM or Business.
• 15+ years of software development project management experience.
• Experience managing large, complex software or systems integration programs.
• Experience with resource planning and staffing across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• Experience with Earned Value Management in Defense industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead across design, development, integration and test activities.
• Identify, assess and mitigate program risk.
• Drive change management affecting scope, schedule and cost.
• Support requirements management and roadmap alignment.
• Communicate status and evolving customer needs to staff.
• Deliver program status reports with actionable insights.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with government customers.
• Oversee subcontractors and external partners.
• Drive process improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cost control.
• Support reviews, demonstrations and external engagements.
• Coordinate multiple customer stakeholders simultaneously.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
