Job summary

Wilcox Industries Corporation seeks a Senior Program Manager to oversee and mentor program managers on complex defense programs, ensuring cost, schedule and performance targets are met. You will coordinate product strategy, transition to production, and sustainment efforts while supervising staff as needed.

You will guide program plans, schedules and budgets, forecast revenue and materials, and align projects with the company roadmap.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, CS or related field or BA in business with 10+ years of leadership in technical programs.
• Excellent project management: create and execute plans, schedules and budgets.
• Proven track record managing complex technical programs, preferably in defense.

Responsibilities

• Manage a staff of Program Managers to deliver products and services meeting customer expectations.
• Keep Director of Programs informed of all program progress.
• Set objectives, assign tasks, budgets, and timetables for goals.
• Align project outcomes with the organization’s business roadmap and goals.
• Communicate strategy to project teams and ensure alignment with goals.
• Develop, maintain program plans, schedules and budgets to meet targets.
• Plan Short-Term Revenue and order forecasting.
• Forecast material requirements to support production increases.
• Plan milestones and reviews to align resources and achieve objectives.
• Support leadership in establishing formal reporting to monitor progress across projects.
• Plan product development programs and improvements for projected demand.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers with Supply Chain to ensure compliance.
• Support business development activities including proposals and resource planning.
• Develop and deliver client presentations targeting staff to C-level.
