Job summary

Tata Technologies is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead large, complex defense engineering programs. You will manage customer communications, planning artifacts, and cross-functional teams to deliver on cost, schedule, and performance metrics in support of DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field is required.
• Minimum 6 years of program management experience and/or leading cross functional teams to established goals.
• Experience in program management for government/defense and with DoD is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all cost aspects of the program from cradle to end of life, including RFP process, monthly performance reporting, and closeout.
• Lead all schedule aspects to meet deliverables and customer need dates; actively manage risk.
• Lead all performance aspects to meet or exceed SOW requirements.
• Manage manpower planning, personnel utilization, resource assignment, and program metrics via control documents (budget sheets, IMS, Risk Register, Scope Amendment Log).
• Lead teams to execute Program Reviews and Design Reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support department needs related to Business development and Forecasting.
• Instill a positive, collaborative environment and drive process improvements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field

Master’s degree in engineering or Business Administration

PMI / PMP or equivalent Project Management Certification
