Job summary

JHM Partners in Dallas is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of defense litigation experience to join its Dallas/Oklahoma office. The role offers significant autonomy, direct client interaction, and long-term career growth in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities include managing cases through resolution, drafting pleadings, taking depositions, and representing clients at hearings and mediations, with opportunities for trial readiness and strategic guidance in multi-state defense

Qualifications

• J.D. and active Texas Bar membership required.
• 5+ years defense litigation experience, insurance defense preferred.
• Strong discovery, deposition, motion practice, and mediation experience.
• Excellent analytical, writing, advocacy and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Develop litigation strategy and prepare matters for trial.
• Provide strategic legal advice and maintain strong client relationships.
