Job summary

U.S. Northern Command in Colorado Springs is seeking a senior-level strategic analyst to perform high‑level analysis and decision support on complex defense, homeland defense, civil support, and interagency issues.

You will coordinate strategic planning and ensure products reflect policy alignment and operational relevance, with supervision of a small staff assigned to the CAG. Telework is eligible under the agency's policies.

Qualifications

• May be required to perform Battle Roster functions during Exercises and Real-World events.
• These duties may require additional duty hours and/or a physical/medical assessment to deploy to alternate duty locations.

Responsibilities

• Performs senior-level strategic analysis and decision support for the CCDR on complex defense, homeland defense, civil support, and interagency issues.
• Performs strategic analysis and substantive planning to support the CCDR’s participation in out-of-town deliberative engagements and other high-visibility senior leader events.
• Provides technical and administrative supervision to a small staff assigned to the CAG.
