Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs across the lifecycle.
• Staffing and coordinating acquisition documentation (SOOs, SOWs, CDRLs).
• Milestone planning, regulatory documentation, and senior leadership briefings.
• Managing cost, schedule, and performance of programs.
• Leading IPTs and coordinating across disciplines.
• Knowledge of federal acquisition processes and regulations.
• Strong written and oral communication for senior leaders.
• Ability to work independently in dynamic environments and with classified programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior program management and acquisition support for government development and execution efforts.
• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of acquisition activities across the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with program managers, engineers, contracting, finance, logistics, and test teams.
• Maintain situational awareness and proactively plan for major program events and reviews.
• Staff acquisition documentation required by statute, regulation, and policy for milestones and decisions.
• Develop, review, and coordinate acquisition strategies, planning documents, and briefing materials.
• Support contract award and modification activities, including pre‑award documentation and source selection.
• Review contractor deliverables, schedules, status reports, and cost performance; provide assessments.
• Monitor contractor performance and identify impacts to cost, schedule, and performance.
• Lead IPT activities to synchronize cross‑functional efforts and timely decisions.
• Develop program roadmaps for capabilities, technologies, and product lines.
• Create integration and transition plans and coordinate resources.
• Support milestone planning, tracking, and senior leader decision documentation.
• Identify risks, issues, and opportunities; propose mitigations and communicate with leadership.
• Prepare clear written and oral communications for senior Department of the Air Force and industry stakeholders.
• Establish trusted working relationships with government customers and contractors.
