Job summary

Mtsi Va is seeking a Senior Acquisition Program Manager to support an Air Force Life Cycle Management Center customer at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. The role requires leading acquisition planning, execution, and oversight across the lifecycle, working with Government personnel and contractors in an IPT structure.

The successful candidate will coordinate across functions, develop program roadmaps, and communicate with senior leaders. Travel up to 20% may be required; U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Department of War acquisition programs, including contracting and program management across the lifecycle.
• Experience developing and staffing acquisition documentation (SOWs, SOOs, CDRLs) for research and development.
• Experience milestone planning and staffing statutory/regulatory documentation through completion.
• Experience managing or assessing program execution with focus on cost, schedule, and performance.
• Experience leading Integrated Product Teams and coordinating across multiple disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of Federal acquisition processes and regulations.
• Ability to brief senior Government and military leaders; communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior program management and acquisition support for Government development and execution efforts.
• Lead or support planning, coordination, and execution of acquisition activities across the program lifecycle.
• Collaborate with program managers, engineers, contracting, finance, logistics, test, and other teams for integrated execution.
• Maintain situational awareness of day-to-day program issues and plan for reviews and decisions.
• Coordinate acquisition documentation required by statute, regulation, and policy for milestones.
• Develop and coordinate acquisition strategies and related program artifacts.
• Support contract award/modification activities including pre-award docs and source selection.
• Review deliverables, schedules, and status reports; provide assessments to Government.
• Monitor contractor performance and impacts on cost, schedule, and performance.
• Lead IPT activities to synchronize stakeholder efforts and timely decisions.
• Develop program roadmaps for capabilities and product lines.
• Develop integration and transition plans and resource coordination.
• Support milestone planning, staffing, and decision-quality docs for leadership.
• Identify risks and mitigation plans; communicate impacts to leadership.
• Prepare clear written/oral briefings for senior leaders and stakeholders.
