Job summary

Cyclotron is seeking a Senior Security Architect who will architect, design, and deploy enterprise security solutions across Microsoft Defender XDR, Sentinel, and cloud/on-prem environments. You will engage with clients to deliver best-in-class protection of Microsoft-based assets and guardrails for identity, devices, and compliance.

This remote contractor role spans US and Canada with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Defender security solutions including Defender for Office 365, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Cloud and Sentinel.
Strong experience with KQL, Attack Simulation, on-premises security solutions (Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory) and third-party host protection tools.
Excellent communication, leadership in technical discussions, and solid technical writing to guide resolutions.

Responsibilities

Drive discovery, design, configuration, validation, piloting, deployment and support of Microsoft cloud and on-premises security capabilities.
Collaborate across Cyclotron units to provide a holistic approach combining threat protection with identity, devices, compliance, and more.
Contribute to the development of new Threat Protection and SIEM services offered by Cyclotron.
Engage with Cyclotron and customer teams to share information to improve processes and security posture.
