Job summary

PDF Solutions, Inc. in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Senior Consultant Engineer to advance our e-beam yield-enhancement solutions in state-of-the-art fabs.

The role focuses on analyzing eProbe outputs, driving experiments, and delivering high-quality reports in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment. You'll collaborate with customers, use Cadence ICFB, KLayout, and JMP-based platforms, and apply your programming skills (Python, Java, C++, etc.) to extract actionable insights and maximize tool

Qualifications

• Ability to use layout edit or review tools (Cadence ICFB, KLayout, etc.)
• Familiar with analysis platforms (JMP, Spot Fire, etc.)
• Experience with semiconductor fail modes (opens/shorts) in FEOL and BEOL
• Basic device physics: P-N junction, transistor operation, CMOS
• Ability to drive experiments and summarize findings in high-quality reports

Responsibilities

• Analysis of PDF eProbe outputs to maximize yield improvement
• RD Experiments to retarget defects, strengthen signals, reduce noise
• Analysis dataflow creation for repeated and consistent readouts
• Influence customers to analyze eProbe readouts for yield improvement
