Miller Transportation Group in Lumberton, NJ, seeks a Controller to manage the financial operations for Miller Ford, Lincoln and Subaru. You will oversee monthly reporting, internal controls, the annual budget process, and regulatory compliance, reporting to the CFO and partnering with store leaders.

The role emphasizes leadership of accounting staff, cash management, audits, GL maintenance, and collaboration with HR on policy development.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
• CPA preferred and experience with dealership operations is advantageous.
• 8+ years of managerial accounting and financial management experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead the accounting and administrative office personnel.
• Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements, complete with supporting schedules, by the 10th of each month.
• Interpret and analyze financial results to identify trends and areas of concern.
• Maintain the General Ledger and all supporting documentation.
• Manage cash flow, review bank reports, and oversee investment accounts.
• Conduct monthly financial reviews with department managers.
• Coordinate the annual financial audit/review.
• Oversee parts physical inventory.
• Ensure compliance with state and local tax filings, surcharges, and unclaimed property reporting.
• Work closely with HR on policy development and employee handbooks.
