Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineer to join the DDR Customer Engineering Software team. You will enable software, bring up platforms, validate systems, optimize performance, and support customers for DDR memory subsystems.

You will interface with Qualcomm engineering and customers to drive commercialization of SoCs, requiring strong system software, DDR architecture, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering or related experience.
• Master's degree and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering or related experience.
• PhD in Engineering/CS/related field.
• 1+ year of programming in C/C++/Java/Python, etc.
• 1+ year of debugging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Support DDR enablement and platform bring-up across firmware, bootloaders, and OS environments.
• Investigate and resolve DDR-related issues including memory corruption and training failures.
• Perform root cause analysis of memory subsystem behaviors involving DDR controllers and cache coherency.
• Collaborate with customers, OEMs, and ODMs to support memory configuration and issue triage.
• Partner with DDR design, firmware, validation, systems, and software teams to drive issue resolution.
• Analyze and optimize DDR performance, memory bandwidth, latency, and power consumption.
• Develop and leverage debug methodologies, automation tools, and validation frameworks.
• Support customer engagements and deployment of Qualcomm products.
