Job summary

Rapsys Technologies Pte Ltd. seeks an experienced Hardware Engineer to design and validate DC/AC inverter hardware using IGBT/MOSFET topologies.

You will collaborate with firmware for real-time control, develop gate drivers, isolation interfaces and protection circuits, and produce Altium-based schematics and multi-layer PCBs. Responsibilities include hardware testing, fault analysis, EMI/EMC consideration, and documentation to ensure robust inverter performance.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical / electronics with 6+ years in power electronics/hardware.
• DC/AC inverter hardware design experience.
• IGBT/MOSFET topologies with gate driver and protections.
• Schematic and multilayer PCB design using Altium; real-time control integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop DC/AC inverter hardware using IGBT/MOSFET power topologies.
• Work with microcontrollers for real-time control integration.
• Create gate driver circuits, isolation interfaces and protection circuits.
• Design schematics and multi-layer PCB designs using Altium.
• Perform hardware testing, debugging and validation with scopes and analyzers.
• Integrate control hardware with firmware team on inverter operation / fault.
