The role requires strong SQL Server/Oracle experience, scripting skills in PowerShell and Shell, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8 years equivalent experience.
• Strong SQL Server and Oracle experience.
• Backup/recovery and performance tuning expertise.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell and Shell.
• Data governance and analytical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support multiple database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB).
• Perform performance tuning, patching, and database builds.
• Ensure backup and recovery processes and business continuity.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Shell).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in on-call rotation.
• Utilize ServiceNow to manage requests and support data governance.
• Support capacity planning and data integrity audits.
• Drive adoption of standard data management practices.
• Enable data-driven decisions through analytics.
